No Drawbacks to Solar Power

No Drawbacks to Solar Power.

Charlotte Wilson, Worldview,  speaking to Americansupersolar’s Paul Smith, March 26, 2014 –

“Make Solar Power During the Night, All Night, Every Night – that’s what we’re calling our lecture on April 6. Why that title? Because solar-at-night is sort of the Holy Grail.  If you keep on making solar power at night and on cloudy days, then there are no drawbacks to solar energy.

“Many say it’s impossible at this time, unheard of. But they just don’t know what’s really going on. MIT admits it’s going to take them a lot longer. They (MIT) are working hard to do this but they’re going in the wrong direction.

“Meanwhile, we want the public to know – solar power 24 hours a day is happening.”

“What is the correct direction”

“For one thing, we use a closed-looped system. Power keeps on making power. That way, you don’t need to use a Utility company like a bank account (net metering) … and their fees are going up. There aren’t many things these days that give you a feeling of freedom. Now you can live in your home and be independent. Is your home your castle, not so much, these days. But with this solar, you feel fresh – freedom is a different way of feeling.”

Wilson makes hand motions – “How does it work?”

“Showing is the way to learn. You’ll have to be there.”
